New Delhi: Reliance Jio owned by Mukesh Ambani has introduced two new schemes with long validity for its jioPhone users. Telco has introduced two new plans for long term validity of Rs 594 and Rs 297.
Under the plan of Rs 594, jioPhone users will get unlimited local and STD calling facility and unlimited data. However, the daily data limit is set as 0.5GB. If the user exhausts the daily limit, then speed will come up to 64Kbps. Additionally, users will get Jio Suite Apps and 300 SMS facility. This long term plan is valid for a period of 168 days. This means that this plan is valid for a total period of six months.
On the other hand, under the scheme of Rs. 297, users will get unlimited local and national calling without any daily FUP limit. In this plan, users will get 300 SMS per month and 0.5GB data per day. If the user crosses the daily limit then speed will come up to 64Kbps. This scheme comes with a validity of 84 days which means total 3 months.
Recently, Reliance Jio’s rival Airtel also introduced two new prepaid plans with long-term validity. The service provider started the schemes of Rs 998 and Rs 597, which come with the validity of 336 days and 168 days respectively. New plans are available across the country and the benefits can be availed by both new and existing users of Airtel. There are unlimited national and local calling facilities under Telco’s plans which do not have any daily FUP limit. Total 12GB data is available in the plan of Rs 998, while the plan of Rs 597 gives total 6GB data. Like Reliance Jio, both plans have 300 SMS facility every month.
