Moto X4 Android 9.0 Pie Update

Moto X4 ₹ 9, 888, launched with Android Naught, has now started receiving its stable Android 9.0 pie. The latest development comes a few weeks after the release of Android pipe update from Soak Test. The new software version also comes with the November Android security patches. It is also possible to bring original Android pie features, including gesture-based system navigation as well as app actions and slices, adaptive batteries and adaptive brightness. After the introduction of Android 7.1 with Nougat, the Moto X4 was received in December last year as the first major software update in Android 8.0 Oreo.

The stable Android 9.0 pie update for the Moto X4 in the XDA Developers Report is growing in Brazil. Screenshots confirming the new update show that this software version is PPW29.69-26 and comes with Android security patches in November. It has been estimated that Android Pie Update is exciting as an over-the-air (OTA) update.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Motorola had started a dry trial of Android pie updates with a small group of beta testers before moving ahead with the new version for the public. Beta testing was done in India with build number PPW 2969-177.

Specifically, the Moto X4 is not the only Motorola handset that is receiving Android pie. The company recently released Android Pie Update for Motorola One Power ₹ 15,999 in India. This update started after a Soech Test was conducted with some beta testers.

To remember, the Moto X4 was launched with a dual rear camera setup and a 5.2-inch full HD LTPS IPS display in late August last year. The handset reached India in November last year. In December of last year, Android 8.0 Oreo was also updated. In addition, the company also brought a 6 GB RAM version of the Moto X4 in January.
